Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that
needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth. (2 Timothy 2:15). It is our goal to provide the resources
needed for our church family to learn the word of God in
such a way that it not only becomes knowledge, but it impacts
the way we live our daily lives. We currently use the CLEAR
curriculum which allows our families to study the same topics
each week while presenting the material in an age appropriate
manner.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is
old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6). With so
much competing for the attention of our children today,
we feel that it is vitally important to offer our children
a Christ centered alternative. Our teachers are dedicated
to providing an atmosphere in which our children can grow
through Bible based teaching, hands on interaction, and
relevant application to the world in which they live.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
(Ephesians 5:19). Throughout the Bible, we find that music
is a very important part of worshiping God. Our Choir offers
an opportunity to blend these voices together as well as
an opportunity to minister to the congregation in song.

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when
my strength faileth.(Psalms 71:9) It is sometimes necessary
in the course of life to call on others to help us with
the needs of ageing parents and grandparents. Just because
they are no longer in our homes, does not mean they are
to be forgotten. Our nursing home ministry plays a very
vital role in bringing joy to the hearts of those who have
spent many years bringing joy to the hearts of others.

For we are labourers together with God: (1 Corinthians 3:9).
What a blessing it is to have a group of ladies that love
the Lord and are willing to put that love into action. Our
women meet together on the second Wednesday of each month
for a time of prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Throughout
the year they work hard raising money for missions and other
church projects. Whenever there is a need for the Lord,
you can be sure our ladies will be there to meet it.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be
strong.(1 Corinthians 16:13). What the church needs now
more than ever is Godly men. It is our vision here at Kendale
Acres to provide an atmosphere whereby our men can grow
in the faith and knowledge of our Lord and then take that
and put it to work in their daily lives. Our men meet the
second Wednesday night of every month for a time of prayer,
Bible Study, and fellowship. This group of men also plays
a vital role in the daily operations and upkeep of our church
facilities.

~ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost: (Matthew 28:18-19) We believe that the great commission
is just as much for today's church as it was for the early
church when it was first spoken. In a world where so many
are being overcome by the evil around us, it is critical
that we go out into the highways and the hedges and compel
people to come in.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them
not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
(Matthew 19:14). This is one of the newest ministries here
at the church, in fact it is in the very beginning stages.
It is our goal to provide a way for children to come under
the teaching of the gospel by providing them with a way
to get to church. Through this ministry in conjunction with
our Children's Church ministry, we are praying to have an
impact on the children in our community

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful
noise to the rock of our salvation. (Psalms 95:1) The Bible
leaves no doubt that God desires to hear our voices lifted
up to Him in song. What better way to let out children participate
in this than to allow them to join their voices in song.
Not only does this give our children a chance to develop
the talents God has given them, it is also a wonderful way
for them to minister to the church as they share their special
music with us.
