Brother Doug Western and his family - Angie, Zach, and Sarah, came to Kendale Acres in May 2007. Doug and Angie are originally from Chesterfield, VA where they attended Good News FWB Church under Rev. Glen Johnson. Bro. Doug was saved at the Wild's Youth Camp in Brevard, NC when he was fifteen years old. In 1998 he felt God's call on his life and answered the call to preach. After attending Southeastern FWB Bible college for two years, he felt the call into full-time ministry in Rock Hill, SC. There he served as pastor for six years before being called to join the church family at Kendale Acres. He is a man dedicated to the preaching of the Bible and to promoting the kingdom of Christ throughout our world. We look forward to the enthusiasm he brings to the ministry.

What a joy and privilege it is to be able to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Though I feel unworthy to be used, I am thankful that He was willing to overlook my faults and use me anyway. I look forward to my new ministry here in Sanford, NC and I wait with great anticipation for the things God has in store for us here.
